Bihar Police ASI Steno Notification 2024: The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has announced a recruitment drive for 305 vacancies of Steno Assistant Sub-Inspector. Bihar Police Steno ASI Notification 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board.
Must possess a government-recognized diploma in computer operation.
Age Limit (as of 1st August 2024)
General (Male): 18-25 years
BC/EBC (Male): 18-27 years
BC/EBC (Female): 18-28 years
SC/ST (Male/Female): 18-30 years
Age relaxation is applicable for government employees and ex-servicemen as per the rules.
Bihar Police Steno ASI Notification 2024 Selection Process
Written Test:
Two objective question papers.
Paper I: General Hindi (100 marks, 1.5 hours).
Paper II: General Knowledge and Reasoning (200 marks, 2 hours).
Skill Test:
Shorthand Test: 80 WPM in Hindi; transcription speed of 30 WPM on a computer.
Typing Test: Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM in Hindi.
Merit List:
Prepared based on written test and skill test scores.
